The Lake Worth ISD Department of Business Services strives to be a model for sound fiscal responsibility. The department takes seriously it’s role in ensuring the long-term financial viability of the district and, in turn, the success of current and future students in our classrooms.

The cornerstones of that philosophy in LWISD are financial integrity and transparency. The commitment to both is evidenced by the awards and recognition our district has received, including our “Superior Achievement” in the Financial Integrity Rating System of Texas and our “Platinum” rating for transparency by the Texas Comptroller Leadership Circle program.
