  • The loyalty oath is included on this form and is to be filed at the LWISD Superintendent’s office no later than 5:00 p.m. on Monday, August 18, 2025. There is no filing fee. The statement regarding nepotism is on the reverse side of the application. Your signature on the application will cover the required signature for this document.

It is the duty of the candidate to become familiar with the applicable laws regarding campaign for office.  The duty of Lake Worth ISD is limited to accepting and filing the reports and noting the date received thereon

Application Process

Notice is hereby given that applications for a place on the Lake Worth ISD Board of Trustees will be available online or at the Lake Worth ISD James Hodgkins Administration Building, 6805 Telephone Road, Lake Worth, TX 76135 according to the following schedule.

July 19, 2025 – August 18, 2025 – Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
 

For a place on the ballot, all candidate applications must be received at the Lake Worth ISD James Hodgkins Administration Building located at 6805 Telephone Road, Lake Worth, TX 76135 no later than 5:00 PM on Monday, August 18, 2024.

Deadline to Post Notice of Candidate Filing Deadline: Friday, June 20th, 2025 - Notice of Deadline to File 

First Day to file for a place on the ballot: July 19, 2025

Last day to file for a place on the ballot: August 18th, 2025

Last day to Register to Vote: Monday, October 6th, 2025

First day of Early Voting by personal appearance: Tuesday, October 20, 2025

Last day to Apply for a Ballot by Mail (Received, not Postmarked): Friday, October 24, 2025 - https://www.votetexas.gov/voting-by-mail/index.html
