New and Former Student Registration Q&A
-
To enroll your student in LWISD, you must first contact the last LWISD school that your child attended to have your Skyward Family Access account reactivated.
-
Proof of Residency
Acceptable documents to establish proof of residency include:- current electric, gas, or water bill (Note:cell phone bills are NOT acceptable)
- current property tax statement
- current lease or rental agreement
- current deed of sale for purchase of a home
To be considered current, documents must be dated within the last 30 days, with the exception of tax statements which must be from the most recent year.

Family in Residency RequestThis form must be completed for a student whose family is temporarily living with a Lake Worth ISD resident. The form must be completed in it's entirety before it will be approved.
Current or Continuing Students
-
Yes. Students who are continuing in Lake Worth ISD from last school year must complete the annual online registration process. Log in to your Skyward Family Access account and complete the Next Year Returning Registration procedures.
If you do not remember your Family Access login credentials, please contact your campus. -
Documentation for continuing students is required for students moving from prekindergarten to kindergarten or from sixth grade to seventh grade. In those cases, additional immunizations are required by the state. You will have to provide documentation of the additional immunizations. For information regarding immunization requirements, please visit the Immunization Information page.
Additionally, if the student has changed address or been gone more than one school year, an updated Proof of Residency will be required. -
If you have a student entering prekindergarten or grade 7, new immunization records are required. If you are able to upload the required documents and complete the online forms, you may simply contact the campus to complete the process.
However, if you are unable to complete the forms online or upload them, you will need to visit the campus to complete the process. If you have new immunization records, be sure to take them with you to the campus. Campus staff will scan the records and return them to you.
If you have moved, you will need to provide the campus with proof of residency.
You will receive an email once the campus registrar approves the registration. There may be a need for additional information. If that's the case, the registrar will contact you.
General Enrollment Questions

If you do not have digital copies of the required documents or the ability to scan the documents, you may use your smartphone or tablet to take a clear photo of documents, including all pages of shot records or legal paperwork, and upload the photo files. You may also visit your campus and bring the documentation for staff to scan into our system and return the originals to you.
-

Appointments are recommended. Office hours may vary from campus to campus. Some campuses may close for a staff lunch period. Campus office staff have some required training to attend at the beginning of the year.
