Out-of-District Transfer Guidelines and Application

Please note: Some campuses,grade levels, or special program units may be at capacity. Once your application is submitted and processed, the campus registrar will contact you about the status of your application. If we are at capacity, the student will be placed on a waitlist and contacted when a place opens up. 

Applications for the 2023-2024 school year are available at the campus

LAKE WORTH ISD TRANSFER GUIDELINES

  1. Out of District Transfer students must reapply for transfer status each school year.
  2. Currently, there is not a tuition fee for approved student transfers into Lake Worth ISD.
  3. Students who were originally LWISD residents and then moved out of the district boundary, will need to fill out an Out of District Transfer application.
  4. The Superintendent or designee, at his/her discretion, may waive extenuating circumstances concerning student transfers.

 

GUÍA DE TRASLADOS DE LAKE WORTH ISD
1. Los estudiantes trasferidos que son fuera del distrito deben volver a solicitar el estado de transferencia cada año escolar. 
2. Actualmente, no existe nigun costo de inscripción para estudiantes autorizados que se transladen a Lake Worth ISD. 
3. Los estudiantes que originalmente eran residentes de LWISD y luego se mudaron fuera de los límites del distrito, deberán completar una aplicación de transferencia fuera del distrito. 
4. El Superintendente o su designado(a) podra rechazar la solicitud de un(a) solicitante de formadiscrecional por razones extenuantes.

Please Note:

  • EXISTING/CURRENT transfer students' applications will be available April 15th, 2023 to May 25th, 2023 and be notified by June 15th, 2023.

  • NEW transfer students, if turned in before July 1st, 2023, will be notified by July 15th, 2023.

  • All other applications received after July 1st, 2023, will be notified as spots become available.

Tenga en cuenta:

• Las solicitudes de estudiantes de transferencia EXISTENTES / ACTUALES estarán

disponibles del 15 de abril de 2023 al 25 de mayo de 2023 y se notificarán antes del 15

de junio de 2023.

• Los NUEVOS estudiantes transferidos, si se entregan antes del 1 de julio de 2023, serán

• notificados antes del 15 de julio de 2023.

• Todas las demás solicitudes recibidas después del 1 de julio serán notificadas a medida

que haya plazas disponibles.
