Counselor's Page

Hello and welcome! 

My name is Dorothy Galindo Pelayo, School Counselor at Miller Language Academy.  My role as School Counselor is to provide support to students, parents, teachers, staff and administrators to help students with academic success.  I love helping students form healthy goals, mindsets and behaviors. I also enjoy helping students learn to develop effective collaboration and cooperation skills, practice perseverance, develop time management and study skills, and to learn self-motivation and self-direction habits. This is my 19^th year working as a school counselor and my 3^rd year at Lake Worth ISD (LWISD).  I am so pleased to be a part of Miller Language Academy and the LWISD family.  I am here to serve all of the students, their families, our faculty, staff and administration.
