    Mrs. Giddens is honored to join Lake Worth ISD as Principal of Marine Creek Leadership Academy.  

    She began her career in 2005 as a 4th grade teacher for Irving ISD.  Shortly after, Mrs. Giddens was selected for the district’s administrative leadership program. After two years as Assistant Principal at Schulze Elementary, Mrs. Giddens  gained additional administrative leadership experience at Coppell and Keller ISD, before returning to Irving to serve as Principal for the families of Barton Elementary and Stipes Elementary.

    In 2019, Mrs. Giddens was selected as Region 10’s Principal of the Year by the Texas Elementary Principals and Supervisors Association. 

    Her educational background includes a Bachelor of Journalism degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia, and a Masters in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from the University of Texas-Arlington. She is married with two children who recently graduated from the University of Missouri and Savannah College of Art & Design.

    Mrs. Giddens is excited to collaborate with a strong and dedicated staff.  Together, with the support of MCLA families, they will inspire all students to see their tremendous potential and to achieve their very best!
