• Hello!  I am so excited to be working at Lake Worth High School.  This is my sixth year to serve as a school counselor at LWHS.  I actually grew up and went to school in Lake Worth...Class of 1983, Go Bullfrogs!!   It is so wonderful to see all the change in the community and the school district.

Here are a few more things about me.  I have been married to my high school sweetheart for 30 years.  My husband, David, is also a professional educator.  He is currently an assistant principal in a nearby school district.  We have two grown kids and one amazing granddaughter.

I started off my career as a middle school science teacher and I have worked in the Birdville and Keller school districts before coming to Lake Worth ISD.  I feel I have been very blessed to have all of the opportunities I have had over the course of my career.  I am a life long learner and I still love to attend conferences or read books and websites for ideas or activities to use at work.

Things I can help students with include academic, personal, social and emotional issues. Basically, I am here to support the students and staff so that the students can be academically successful and prepared for the post-secondary world.  Unfortunately, there are many things that can occasionally get in the way of learning for 14-18 year old students.

If I can ever help you, please let me know.
