MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of the Lake Worth Independent School District’s Transportation Department is to enable each student, through safe and efficient transportation, to take full advantage of the complete range of curricular and extra-curricular activities offered by the district.  

Transportation at Lake Worth ISD

The bus drivers of Lake Worth ISD carry approximately 1900 students in a timely and safe manner every school day. LWISD operates a fleet of 24 route buses and 10 extra-curricular buses.  We travel approximately182,000 miles per school year for regular routes, special education routes and extra-curricular activities.
