LWISD Homeless/Foster Care Plan

McKinney-Vento Act (Homeless Education Assistance):

Children and Youth in many different living situations are considered homeless under federal law. Homelessness is a lack of permanent housing - resulting from extreme poverty or from the lack of a safe and stable living arrangement. If you feel that this is true for you and your family, please contact our district McKinney-Vento Homeless Liaison, Chris Hollie at 817-306-4200 ext. 1086.

Programma para los destituidos (sin casa):

Los niños y jóvenes quienes tengan diferentes situaciones de vivienda se pueden considerar destituidos bajo la ley federal. Ser destituido implica no tener una vivienda permanente debido a pobreza extrema o a la falta de una vivienda segura y estable. Si usted considera que esta situación describe a su- familia, por favor póngase en contacto con el encargado de las familias destituidas del distrito, Chris Hollie al 817.306.4200 ext. 1086.
