Facility Use
The Lake Worth ISD (hereafter referred to as District welcomes the use of it's facilities owned by outside organizations and/or groups. However, such use shall not be permitted if it interferes with the educational program of any campus or if it conflicts with activities scheduled by the District, including, but not limited to, maintenance and/or repair of any facility.
The District is a tax-supported, nonprofit organization established to serve the students and youth residing within the boundaries of the District. Therefore, the District may differentiate among various categories of organizations and/or groups in establishing the length of time that a facility may be used or the fee charged for use. Categories may include, but is not limited to:
- youth groups
- adult groups
- nonprofit organizations
- for-profit organizations
- civic groups
All organizations and/or groups within the same category shall be offered fair and equal access to District facilities as stipulated by School Board Policy.
