Title IX Coordinator
The Lake Worth ISD prohibits discrimination, including harassment, against any employee on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, gender, national origin, age, disability, or any other basis prohibited by law. Retaliation against anyone involved in the complaint process is a violation of District policy and is prohibited.
Discrimination against an employee is defined as conduct directed at an employee on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, gender, national origin, age, disability, or any other basis prohibited by law, that adversely affects the employee’s employment. In accordance with law, discrimination on the basis of sex includes discrimination on the basis of biological sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, gender stereotypes, or any other prohibited basis related to sex.
The District has designation the employee listed below as the Title IX Coordinator in order to address concerns or inquiries regarding discrimination of the basis of sex, including sexual harassment, sexual assault, dating violence, domestic violence, stalking, or gender-based harassment.
Reports or formal complaints can be made to the Title IX Coordinator at any time by anyone in person, by mail, telephone, or email, or by other verbal or written means any time, including non-business hours. The Title IX Coordinator will promptly respond in accordance with the process described in policies DH, DIA, DHB, FFG, FFG, and FFI (LEGAL, LOCAL, and Regulations).
