TEA 23-25 Title I 1003 ESF-Focused Support Grant

2023-2025 Title I, 1003 ESF-Focused Support Grant (Eligible Campuses include :Howry, Miller, Collins, and Marine Creek.)

Public Notice of Intent to Apply for the Texas Education Agency’s 2023-2025 Title I, 1003 ESF-Focused Support Grant. In accordance with Public Law 114-95, Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965, as amended by Every Student Succeeds Act, Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA), P.L. 114-95, Section 1003, School Improvement and the Texas Education Agency (TEA)  RFA#701-23-112; SAS#578-24, Lake Worth ISD is providing notice of its intent to apply for the 2023-2025 Title I, 1003 ESF-Focused Support Grant Letter of Interest (LOI) Application Due 11:59 p.m. CT, April 21, 2023.

This grant is funded through the Title I, Part A, Improving Basic programs operated by Local Education Agencies (LEAs). Any recipient of this grant must be eligible for and receive Title I, Part A funds. This grant program is intended to support school-level improvement efforts to directly benefit Comprehensive Support and Improvement, Targeted Support and Improvement or Additional Targeted Support and Improvement schools. The Title I, 1003 ESF-Focused Support Grant should be used to support the awarded schools with efforts to improve school outcomes and the implementation and/or in support of their improvement plan.

TEA anticipates approximately 30 grants will be awarded in amounts of $100,000 to eligible campuses for the two-year project period. This notice is to inform the public and community that Lake Worth ISD is in the process of applying for this grant.  The application will be available for public review after submission of the application.
