Gifted and TalentedTransfer Students
Students who have participated in gifted and talented programs prior to registering in Lake Worth ISD are considered for the gifted and talented program. Screening records must be received from the previous school and will be reviewed using LWISD’s identification criteria. If the transfer data is not compatible with LWISD criteria, new assessments will be needed to determine placement eligibility. Assessments must be completed within 30 school days from receipt of the assessment results from the previous district following the LWISD identification process.
