I am very excited about starting the new Effie Morris Early Learning Academy this year! This campus will allow us to focus on building a strong foundation to prepare our students for success throughout their lifetime. The 22-23 school year will mark my 22nd year in public education.  I hold a Bachelors Degree in Education from Texas Wesleyan University, a Masters Degree in Educational Administration from Tarleton State University, and  I am currently a Doctoral Candidate at Texas A&M Commerce.  I hold certifications in the following areas: Superintendent, Principal, Elementary Education, and English as a Second Language.  I taught 4th grade for eight years and have been in administration for thirteen years.
