My child did not end the school year at a LWISD school. How can I enroll them?
To enroll your student in LWISD, you must first contact the last LWISD school that your child attended to have your Skyward Family Access account reactivated. From there, the campus registrar will direct you to the website to complete return student registration.

What documents are needed to enroll my student?
Proof of Residency
Acceptable documents to establish proof of residency include:
- current electric, gas, or water bill (Note:cell phone bills are NOT acceptable)
- current property tax statement
- current lease or rental agreement
- current deed of sale for purchase of a home
To be considered current, documents must be dated within the last 30 days, with the exception of tax statements which must be from the most recent year.

Once I've completed the online registration process online, am I finished?
No. After completing the online forms, you must contact your student's campus to complete the process.
If you are unable to complete all of the forms or to upload all required documents, you will need to visit the campus. The campus registrar will contact you to make an appointment, or you can call 812-306-4200 and you will be directed to the approrpiate campus.
Be sure to take all required documents with you to the campus. Campus staff will scan the documents and return them to you.
Current or Continuing Students

Do I need to do anything to register my currently enrolled child for the upcoming school year?
Yes. Students who are continuing in Lake Worth ISD from last school year must complete the annual online registration process. Log in to your Skyward Family Access account and complete the Next Year Returning Registration procedures.
If you do not remember your Family Access login credentials, please contact your campus.

Do I need to provide documentation for my returning child?
Documentation for continuing students is only required for students moving from prekindergarten to kindergarten or from sixth grade to seventh grade. In those cases, additional immunizations are required by the state. You will have to provide documentation of the additional immunizations. Can I enroll a NEW student after completing a returning student registration?
Yes. Log in to your Skyward Family Access account, complete the returning student registration, then you may choose the New to District Enrollment option to enroll the new student. Do not create a new Skyward account.

Once I complete the Returning Student Registration, am I finished with the enrollment process?
If you have a student entering prekindergarten or grade 7, new immunization records are required. If you are able to upload the required documents and complete the online forms, you may simply contact the campus to complete the process.
However, if you are unable to complete the forms online or upload them, you will need to visit the campus to complete the process. If you have new immunization records, be sure to take them with you to the campus. Campus staff will scan the records and return them to you.
If you have moved, you wil need to provide the campus with proof of residency.
You will receive an email once the campus registrar approves the registration. There may be a need for additional information. If that's the case, the registrar will contact you.
General Enrollment Questions

I do not have a computer. How can I complete online registration?
You are welcome to visit a campus and complete online registration on a school computer. It is recommended to make an appointment to ensure that staff will be available to provide access to a computer. Alternatively, online forms may be completed at any location on any computer that has access to the Internet, such as the computer of a friend or relative or a computer at your local library.

I prefer not to submit any information online. Are paper forms available?
No. Lake Worth ISD only offers an online enrollment process. The online enrollment process must be completed by the parent or guardian and verified by school personnel before a student will be enrolled and allowed to attend school. If you need assistance, computers and staff will be available on each campus.

I do not have digital copies of my documents or a scanner. How can I upload required documentation?
If you do not have digital copies of the required documents or the ability to scan the documents, you will need to visit the campus in order to complete registration. COmplete the registration steps as indicated, and submit the application. Be sure to take all required documents with you. Campus staff will scan the documents and return them to you.

Will my information be secure?
Yes. The information is uploaded through a secure, encrypted website. However, you must click the log out button at the end of your session. You must also remember to keep your username and password secure.

Do I need an appointment to complete registration at a campus?
Appointments are recommended. Office hours may vary from campus to campus. Some campuses may close for a staff lunch period. Campus office staff have some required training to attend at the beginning of the year.
