Family Education Rights and Privacy Act

FERPA is a federal law that protects the privacy of student education records.

Texas Education Agency

TEA is a state agency that serves as a support to Special Education programs.

Texas Administrative Code (TAC)

Rules governing education adopted by the State Board of Education (SBOE) and the Commissioner of Education are part of the TAC.
