Vision Statement:
LWISD staff, parents, and community will work together to honor the spirit and intent of special education by providing identified students with disabilities with a challenging educational program that leads to an integrated, independent life after graduation.

Mission :
General and special educators, paraprofessionals, and administrators will work as a team to provide an education that focuses on individual needs and promotes academic progress, as well as emotional, social, and behavioral growth, with passion, compassion and integrity.
