Please take a few minutes to read the important information below regarding some of our procedures at Collins Middle School:
The first bell rings at 7:13 and students are tardy if they are not in class at the 7:20 bell.
3 first period tardies equal 1 absence for TEA attendance accounting purposes
Dress code is strictly enforced...we want our students to represent themselves and CMS in a positive light. Here are a few dress code issues I hope parents will help us with: pants are to be worn at the natural waist line (no sagging), all undershirts must be in dress code colors and tucked in, hair must be a "natural" color and styled in a way that is not distracting to others, no visible piercing (except for the ears), shirts must be loose fitting and cover the midriff at all times. For safety reasons, we do not allow flip flop sandals. Please refer to the student handbook for more information on dress code.
You can view your child's grades through Family Access. You can download a copy of the form for request for Family access on the school website under parents.
