The Safe and Drug Free Program is an integral part of Lake Worth Independent School District and is in a continuous development of improving its areas of responsibility.

The Safe and Drug Free Program consists of five areas of interest.
1. Providing a school climate that is safe and conducive to learning.
2. Providing preventative measures through knowledge where drugs, alcohol and tobacco are concerned.
3. Mediation through peer groups and adults.
4. Providing a curriculum that educates 6th and 9th graders on the importance of self responsibility.
5. Delivering an anti-bullying program.
