Frogs Face Stiff Competition on the Track
The Frogs track and field unit will have plenty of opportunities to compete against talent prior to the 7-AAA Championships held in mid-April. They will travel to Prosper to open the season on 24 Feb 11, and then follow up with their annual trip to the Alvarado Indian Invitational on 05 Mar 11.
New head track coach Jeff Alexander will also take his charges to the FW South Hills meet on 11 Mar 11, while the annual Bullfrog Green Machine Booster Club Relays is slated for Friday of spring break, March 18th. Lake Worth anticipates well over 20 teams planning to compete at this year's meet.
The final two meets will be 26 Mar 11 at the Little Elm Lobo Relays, and the Possum Kingdom Relays, hosted by Graham High School on 02 Apr 11.
The 7-AAA Championships will be hosted by Mineral Wells High School on 12-13 Apr 11. District teams include Lake Worth, Mineral Wells, Decatur, Bridgeport, and Castleberry.
