Hello, my name is Charlene Smith and I am the librarian at Effie Morris Elementary. I have lived in Lake Worth for most of my life and graduated from Lake Worth High School in 1977. I have worked for Lake Worth Independent School District off and on for twenty years as a substitute, at the Tadpole learning center, and now as the librarian at Effie Morris Elementary School. I have been married for 35 years to my husband Roger Smith, who is also a Lake Worth High School alumnus. I have three beautiful daughters, all who graduated from Lake Worth High School and five grandchildren.
This is my third year here and I love it!
