The 2006-2007 operating budget approved the Lake Worth ISD Board of Education is $22,749,547, which is compiled of approximately 50% local taxes and revenues and 50% state taxes and revenues. Federal and State grants add an additional $3,534,754. Funds to service the District debt were budgeted at $3,412,931, and funds for Capital expenditures were budgeted at $21,596,443. The total 2006-2007 Lake Worth ISD budget is $51,290,675.

Lake Worth ISD is a 3A school which employs approximately 520 people and has a Student Refined Average Daily Attendance (Refined ADA) of 2,490. In the past 5 years Lake Worth’s ADA has increased approximately 24%. We expect a continued growth curve of 5-10% for each of the next five years.

Sound financial planning has allowed Lake Worth ISD to offer competitive teacher salaries while continuing to offer an excellent education for our students in well maintained facilities.
